We begin with a relaxed and open conversation. This may happen over coffee in Auckland, via email, social media, or video call. You share your story, vision, timeline, and budget, while I begin sketching ideas and guiding you through possibilities. This stage allows us to feel aligned and confident in creating something meaningful together.

The process always includes carefully curated diamond sourcing. Every BÓHDAN diamond is IGI/GIA certified and comes with a life time warranty. Once the direction is clear, I source diamonds, lab grown or natural, always ethical and always exquisite. We will explore different stones, I will explain their characteristics, and we will choose the one that truly speaks to you. The diamond characteristics always meet D–F colour, VS–VVS clarity, and excellent polish and symmetry standards. Please note that the stone references shared with proposals are for guidance only, and the serial numbers of the final diamonds may differ. However, the diamond selected for your piece will always meet the specifications outlined in the proposal.

From silhouette to setting details, every element is thoughtfully refined together. The journey moves from initial hand sketches to reviewing and approving a digital CAD model of your ring before production begins. All custom variations, enhancements, and personal touches are welcome. This is where your ring becomes unmistakably yours.

Once the design is approved, your ring is handcrafted by a skilled BÓHDAN jeweller with precision and deep respect for the materials. On average, it takes around four to six weeks to craft a bespoke piece.

Before your ring reaches you, it undergoes a detailed quality check. All BÓHDAN pieces are carefully reviewed under a microscope to ensure your ring is absolutely perfect. You will have the opportunity to review the finished piece and give your final approval before it is carefully packaged and prepared for delivery.

With BÓHDAN, your diamond is covered by a lifetime warranty. If it becomes damaged due to a manufacturing fault, we will replace it. Each year, you receive a complimentary ring service, including ultrasonic cleaning, a security check to ensure your stone is securely set, and a gentle polish.
