Introduction

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the BÓHDAN Diamonds website and the purchase of jewellery or services offered through it. By accessing this website or placing an order, you agree to the terms outlined below. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using this website.
Throughout this document, “BÓHDAN”, “we”, “our”, or “us” refers to BÓHDAN Diamonds, and “you” or “the client” refers to the user of the website or purchaser of our jewellery.

Orders & Custom Pieces

BÓHDAN jewellery is made to order or created through a bespoke process.
Each piece is crafted specifically for you based on the chosen design, metal, and diamond or gemstone selection. Production begins once the design and materials have been confirmed and a deposit or full payment has been received.
Typical production timelines are 4–6 weeks, although this may vary depending on the complexity of the design.
Because every piece is individually handcrafted, minor variations may occur as part of the jewellery-making process. These are considered part of the individuality and craftsmanship of each piece.

Design Approval

For bespoke pieces, design concepts or CAD renderings will be shared with you for approval before production begins.
Once a design has been approved, production will commence. Changes requested after this stage may incur additional costs and may affect the production timeline.

Diamond Selection & Availability

Diamonds shown during the selection process are individual stones available at the time of consultation.
Availability may change until a deposit has been received and the diamond has been secured. BÓHDAN will always inform you if a selected stone becomes unavailable and will present alternative options where possible.

Pricing

Prices shown on the website are indicative and may change due to fluctuations in gold prices, diamond availability, or material sourcing.
The final price of your piece is confirmed once the specific diamond or gemstone has been selected and the design details are finalised.
Your quoted price is secured once a deposit or full payment has been received.
All payments are processed in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).

Product Representation

Images shown on the website serve as visual examples of designs.
The final appearance of your jewellery may vary slightly depending on the metal selected, the individual diamond or gemstone used, and natural variations in craftsmanship.
Colours and proportions may also appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting conditions, and gemstone characteristics.

Diamonds & Certification

Diamonds used in BÓHDAN jewellery are supplied with recognised gemological certification when applicable.
Certified diamonds include documentation issued by independent laboratories such as IGI or GIA, confirming the stone’s characteristics and authenticity.
Unless otherwise specified, grading references relate to the centre diamond of the design.
Diamonds and gemstones are natural materials and may contain internal characteristics or inclusions formed during their creation. These are not considered defects and contribute to the individuality of each stone.

Ring Sizing

While we are happy to assist with sizing guidance, the client is responsible for confirming the correct ring size before production begins.
Certain designs, such as eternity bands or intricate and sculptural settings, may not be suitable for resizing after production.

Returns & Exchanges

Because BÓHDAN jewellery is made to order or bespoke, returns and exchanges are not available once production has begun.
If a piece is found to have a manufacturing fault, we will repair or replace it in accordance with our warranty policy.
If you have any questions before placing an order, we encourage you to contact us so we can ensure you feel confident in your decision.

Shipping & Delivery

BÓHDAN ships both within New Zealand and internationally.
All orders are shipped fully insured. Responsibility for the parcel transfers to the client once the package has been delivered and signed for at the shipping address provided.
Clients are responsible for ensuring that someone is available to receive the delivery and that the delivery location is secure.
Order can not be placed from or sent to russia and belarus.

Jewellery Care & Maintenance

BÓHDAN jewellery is designed for everyday wear; however, fine jewellery should be treated with care.
Diamonds and gemstones are securely set, but strong impact or repeated contact with hard surfaces may damage settings or cause stones to become loose over time. Clients are advised to remove jewellery when engaging in activities that may expose it to impact, rough surfaces, or harsh chemicals.

Repairs & Maintenance

BÓHDAN is not responsible for damage resulting from:
• normal wear over time
• accidental impact or strong knocks
• scratches, dents, or marks from daily wear
• exposure to chemicals, cosmetics, or cleaning products
• stones becoming loose or lost
